Constructed by David Heard, this beautifully appointed home shows lots of attention to detail. It's filled with interesting features like the rimu doorjambs and skirtings, and many practical innovations to make living comfortable. With 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, office/study and living areas up and down, there's loads of space for family and friends to spread out and enjoy. Entertaining is a delight with large decks off the living and dining rooms, and upstairs the second lounge also boasts outdoor living. There are features to please the whole family including the modern kitchen with its built-in breakfast table set beneath a curving bay window and a triple garage with built-in benchtop and storage areas including lockable cupboard and rear sliding door. Gas heats the home and hot water.
Views upstairs include lake, mountain and forest views, downstairs an easy-care garden provides privacy.
Truly an outstanding home in a top location.
Born in Wellington I spent a good part of my adult life in Auckland where prior to Real Estate I owned and managed a painting and decorating company specializing in the restoration of old villas and bungalows in most of Aucklands exclusive suburbs.
I am married to Jacqueline who comes from Switzerland. Jacqueline is a Residential Sales Specialist in her own right. We have two young children. I also have a daughter currently living and working in Australia. Prior to settling in the beautiful Lakes District of Rotorua, Jacqueline and I married and lived for almost 3 years in Zurich, Switzerland. We moved to Rotorua in 1995.
People and houses have been the main focus of my previous occupation. Real Estate is all about people and I decided that a career in Real Estate would be a good move. Since then I've never looked back!
In June 2007 I was declared the overall winner 2006-07 for the Regional Real Estate Institute Award for the Waikato/Bay of Plenty and Gisborne District for residential sales with a population 20,001-70,000. The Real Estate Institute of New Zealand Award represents all Real Estate Companies and perhaps proves that bigger is not always better. We are all very hard working and never lose focus of achieving the best result for our homeowners.
