David who lives with his partner Heather and 2 children in Tamahere, between Cambridge and Hamilton, grew up on the family farm in the King Country and later gained a Bachelor of Agricultural Science degree, majoring in Valuation and Farm Management at Massey University. This was followed by 15 years in the banking industry where David specialised in farm finance in the King Country and Waikato regions. During this time David achieved status as a Registered Valuer. He also spent 5 years overseas based in London
David enjoys being part of the vibrant local community and is a proud supporter of our local rural schools. His interests include farm forestry and multisport events; having completed the South Island Coast to Coast on 2 occasions. David also enjoys skiing with his family during the winter months.
