John commenced his career in banking and later moved on into retailing and restauranting for the next 26 years in Thames and Tauranga. His love of people and homes saw him join Harcourts in Tauranga in 1993. John specialises in residential and lifestyle blocks in the Tauranga area and still loves his chosen profession. His attention to detail, coupled with his keenness, diligence and ability to listen have earned him the respect of vendors and buyers alike. John prides himself on his passion, perception, integrity, marketing and negotiation skills.

Using a consultative approach John listens to his client’s wants and needs and then aims to provide an effective marketing strategy that will achieve the desired result. John believes you have to build a good rapport with sellers as it is a joint effort needed in the finding of the best buyer for your property. His empathy and lack of pressure works very well and he has made many good friendships with both buyers and sellers over the years.

John specialises in keeping his clients up to date with what is happening with the sale of their home and has an excellent success rate in selling.

Michael Allott is an experienced salesperson who has developed critical listening skills over his many years in appliance retailing and latterly, real estate sales. He understands better than most the selling process required to move a buyer from their first enquiry about a property through to stepping over the threshold and into home ownership.
Raised by hard-working, entrepreneurial parents, Michael was quite young when he moved with his family from Wellington to a kiwifruit orchard in Tauranga and attended Otumoetai College.  On leaving school he completed a pre-trade engineering degree at Windermere campus but his first love has always been sales.  In his early years he worked in a variety of roles predominantly for appliance retailers - Retravision, 100% Appliances and Harvey Norman.  He was a successful and valuable team member receiving management promotions to stores from Auckland to Wellington before returning to the Bay of Plenty as Store Manager at Harvey Norman, Mount Maunganui.  
In late 2013 Michael felt it was time to consolidate his sales expertise and apply it to the real estate profession.  With his people skills, keen interest in property in Tauranga, and the ability to hear what his customers want, he certainly had the right credentials.  He drew up a clearly-defined business plan and in early 2014 he kicked off his career. He has since then been successfully assisting vendors and buyers with their real estate needs. Michael is a long-term relationship builder.  Immediately likeable, hard-working and very interested in what makes people tick, Michael has great insight - a talent he’s perfected after years on the showroom floor. This skill is helpful for when he is conducting auction campaigns and in the process of tough negotiations.

Michael is married to Sarah and they have 3 young sons. Keeping fit is important to Michael who starts his day at the gym.  He is a passionate follower of MMA, boxing and Brazilian ju-jitsu and enjoys spending time with his family and supporting his community.
