Grant has been a consistently high performing figure in Kapiti - Horowhenua Real Estate since 1986, specialising in Rural & Lifestyle properties.
In 1992 Grant purchased the Challenge Realty company in Levin & Otaki, which became LJ Hooker in 1997.

In 2006, Grant sold the business and spent a year travelling overseas with his family, through America, Europe & Asia.

Grant returned to Real Estate by purchasing the First National Office in Otaki in 2008. 2009 was a resounding success, 26 properties sold, with clear market leadership established in Rural & Lifestyle properties in the Te Horo, Otaki, Manakau area.
2010 Grant again sold 20+ properties.
2011 Grant sold 28 rural & lifestyle properties, and was First Nationals ‘Rural Salesperson of the Year.’ for the second consecutive year.
2012 - 36 properties sold . Runner-up ‘Rural Salesperson of the Year’ - 6th overall in the First National Group. Platinum Award 4 consecutive yrs
2013 - 33 properties sold. Runner-up 'Rural salesperson of the year.
2014 - 36 properties sold - Platinum Award 6 consecutive yrs
