Electrical: This is controlled by a 'Lutron' system and can be programmed to owner requirements, an example is that the lights in the upstairs hall will automatically come on at night when anyone accesses the area but will only come on at 40% intensity. The light in bathrooms and ensuite can be programmed to only come on at 40% intensity at night.

The house can be programmed so when it is closed up you only need to push one button and the house can be put into vacant mode and it will automatically turn lights on and off and play music to give impression someone is occupying it.

What currently functions as a 5th bedroom is situated alongside the entertainment lounge/guest sitting room/office lobby. It is here that the technical core of the house lies concealed behind a wall of panelled cupboards. Included here are the main switchboard cable management system and the central hub and racking system for the home theatre, DVD, VCR, Sky decoder and central sound system.

In the floor under the desk is a control panel giving access to all the telephone, sound, TV, computer and power points that a sophisticated home office would require. This is also repeated in the skirting in case the room was to be used as a bedroom and the room is wired for sound through the ceiling. The lighting and sliding exterior shutters are identical to those in the other bedrooms but the floor is a dark, dramatic sweep of recycled iron bark, stained and polished to match the other timber features of the house.

The property has it's own floating jetty and a long accesway to the rear leading to a launch ramp for smaller craft.
