Margaret says Real Estate is in her blood, her father, husband and son all have sold Real Estate. For over 35 years the family have talked and walked Real Estate in Matamata.

Margaret Troughton has the philosophy that “Knowledge is Power” and with that in mind she is always taking opportunities to extend her knowledge base. After owning and managing a local real estate business, Margaret attended Massey University to achieve her “AREINZ” status. This qualification recognizes her experience in the industry.

With over 20 years’ experience selling real estate in Matamata. Margaret is the Sales Manager of Bayleys Matamata surrounded by an experienced team of twelve with over 100 years’ experience collectively. Margaret’s focus is marketing and selling residential and lifestyle properties in the Waikato region specialising in Matamata.

In the past year Margaret has achieved Bayleys' top 10% selling residential agent nationally. Margaret’s journey so far has been exciting and varied.

Since joining the industry in 2000 Sam has specialised in selling country and lifestyle property throughout the Waikato, focusing in the Matamata and South Waikato areas. He has established himself as one of the top rural agents within Bayleys New Zealand.

A former farmer with a broad understanding of the operational and business aspects of farming. Sam’s been able to forge trusted and long-standing working relationships with his real estate clients resulting in industry awards including Bayleys Top 5% status in 2017 and 2018 and consistently achieving top 10% of all agents for Bayleys nationwide.

A down-to-earth and likeable chap, Sam brings a high level of energy and a clear business head to real estate. His past results, his ability to achieve his vendors’ goals and his ability to exceed their expectations on the communication front have made him a ‘go to’ agent in the Matamata and South Waikato districts.
