A five-minute walk to the end of the street will have you down on the beach, maybe stop at Tay Street Cafe on the way for an excellent coffee or something sweet to add to your beach picnic.

Treat on Tay is a short drive, or a good flat walk, from the Mount (Maoao) and the main street filled with shopping, cafes and restaurants. You're just a five-minute drive from the Mount Hot Pools and walking track up famous Mt Maunganui.
