Set back from the beach to enjoy an elevated position and rural outlook, this homely Waihi Beach accommodation offers a classic Kiwi spot for a switched off summer escape just 10-minute walk from the beach. Welcome to Leafy Serenity!

Featuring a central hub for outdoor living and a large lawn, Leafy Serenity offers the kind of set up a summer getaway calls for. Enjoy a couple of cold ones at the picnic table, before whipping up all your favourites on the BBQ grill. Whip up some sides in the fully equipped kitchenette, you'll be pleased to know there is even an air-fryer!

Made up of three cabins, this unique holiday home features the bathroom and kitchenette/indoor living space in the main dwelling, with a queen size bed in one of the sleepout style bedrooms, and two single beds in the other.

A neutral palette complimented with pops of coastal colour bring that beach holiday vibe to all the cabins. Leafy Serenity is set up to ensure you can enjoy a comfortable stay, while also allowing you to switch off and connect to nature instead of technology!

When you're looking for something to wind down with, there are board games available for a family or friends challenge.

Wake in the morning to a cuppa in the sunshine and make a plan for the day ahead. You could get the blood pumping with a walk up to the Waihi Beach trig, the trail head is just at the end of the cul-de-sac. Or if you want to start off with a refresher, wander the 10 minutes down to the beach for a dip or to catch a wave if the surf's up!

Take the kids to the adventure playground an easy walk from your home away from home. If you love a coffee to wake up to in the morning, you have your choice from the nearby cafes, only a 5-10 minute walk. Treat the family to an ice-cream or some hot chips, you'll find the Waihi Beach Seaside Store & Takeaway near the north end of the beach, just over 1km from Leafy Serenity.

To top up on supplies, check out the local shops, or grab bite to eat at one of the restaurants in town, you'll find the main street of Waihi Beach a three-minute drive away or an easy walk. And if you've brought the boat (there's space to park it here), the ramp is about 10 minutes' drive away at Bowentown.
