Within the extensive Chateaux grounds is The Chateau Grande, a charming retreat to cater for your holiday requirements.The ground floor occupies a large formal living room with a wine cellar that includes a bar fridge; on the other side of the living area is the kitchenette / dining which looks out to the Kaimai Ranges and beyond.Straight off the living area is an outdoor deck facing the Omokoroa harbour.During the summer months sit, watch and listen to the godwits in the harbour and our resident Tui's which reside high up in the Kauri trees.There is an abundance of bird species at Omokoroa.Upstairs you will find two separate suites - The Mount View Suite has a king bed and a bath to soak in while absorbing the gorgeous views towards Tauranga, Mount Maunganui and the Omokoroa peninsula.The sunrises are stunning from this suite.The Kaimai View Suite also with a king bed, has views of the Kaimai Ranges and Omokoroa Harbour towards Bowentown and beyond.The sunsets are magnificent from this suite. Wine, dine and relax within the covered outdoor entertainment area which offers a large bbq, with all utensils and a stove top.Enjoy the benefits of the salt water pool and aromatherapy spa salts while you relax in the spa pool (both are meticulously and professionally maintained), all while enjoying the 360 degree views and north facing sun.In the evenings mood lighting sets the scene for a very tranquil experience.This space is exclusively for guests who are staying at The Chateaux Grande. There is no need to be concerned about parking at The Omokoroa Chateaux as there is plenty of room for boats and more - meanwhile the Omokoroa jetty is a 5 minute drive away at the end of the peninsula. Your neighbourhood is a harmonious blend of convenience and leisure.Within walking distance, you will find a picturesque golf course, meandering walking, Omokoroa cycle / walk track to Tauranga and around the peninsular, and the welcoming Omokoroa boat club and domain.For daily essentials, a short stroll leads to amenities such as doctors, dentist, optometrist, a chemist, hairdressers, and supermarket and bottle store.You will also find an array of lovely restaurants around the Omokoroa district. Please note the property consists of two other residences - The Chateau Premier (not taking bookings so the entertainment area is all yours) and the Chateau Loft which occupies the custodians but is separate from the main Chateaux. Interaction with the custodians can be as much or as little as you desire. As travellers themselves they want your stay at the Chateau Grande to be an enjoyable experience so they are always available to help with anything you may require.
