Catherine Goodwin

Following 5 years practising as a Solicitor in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom, Catherine has stood alongside Ashley Goodwin as General Manager of the Goodwin Group since December 2005.

Catherine completed her Bachelor in Law from the University of Otago in 1999 and immediately gained employment with an Auckland City law firm performing a broad spectrum of property transactions for both private and commercial clients.

In August 2001 Catherine departed New Zealand to both develop her career in the United Kingdom and experience the travel opportunities of Europe. Based in London, Catherine has worked for the Legal (Contract) Service of the London Borough of Southwark, which provides homes for over 44,000 council tenants and leaseholders. Providing tenants with all the services you would expect of a good landlord, including repairs and maintenance, estates cleaning and refurbishment work.

In September 2002 Catherine joined a progressive London law firm within the Commercial Property Team dealing with the acquisition, disposal and management of commercial premises throughout the UK and internationally. Catherine delivered a comprehensive range of legal services to clients including property developers, investors, speculators and a variety of finance providers.
