Front Row Hahei
Two-storey beach house (110SqM plus large deck), plus large shed (potential garage) on large flat section (809 SqM), beach side of Hahei's front row (opp. John Spear Ave).
Fully fenced - only a narrow arm of camping ground separates you and the water.
Upstairs is a complete home, built approx. 30 yrs ago, with carpeted lounge (opens onto huge, beach-side deck) and 2 bedrooms, separate kitchen (incl. full stove, microwave and large frig/freezer), bathroom and separate toilet, plus almost new washing machine.
Block basement contains bathroom (incl. toilet) and separate shower, plus large open area (recently tiled) with ranch slider, almost new sound absorbing ceiling plus high quality noise-reducing tiles (can easily sleep six or more). Curtains throughout.
Full water pressure and supply from substantial concrete water tank and pump. The tank is filled by a continuous slow feed, so there has never been a shortage under normal use.
Shed has long run roofing (recently replaced) and concrete floor. Currently used for storage, but could easily be converted to garage/workshop.
Hahei has been voted the best beach on the Coromandel (with island views and exceptionally white sand). It offers a mini-supermarket, restaurants & cafes, tennis courts, dive-shop, garage, kayaking and off-beach trailer boat launching.
It lies at the entrance to the world-famous Cathedral Cove, approx 2&1/2; hrs drive from Auckland or Hamilton, between Tairua and Whitianga. Nearby beaches include Hot Water Beach, Cooks Beach and Whitianga.
