231 HENWOOD ROAD, BELLBLOCK,TARANAKI, NEW ZEALAND
Sit quietly and you may hear the sound of a native New Zealand morepork (owl), the song of a Tui or the rush of a native wood pigeon high in the trees. Listen for the gentle flutter of a fantail in the warm evening air in your own piece of New Zealand paradise. Go for an evening stroll in the small secluded valley bushwalk and observe the glow worms. The early morning and evening sun on the native bush canopy is like a moving masterpiece and the autumn creates a completely new dimension again with the ever changing flora and fauna. Even when it's misty or raining the setting is akin to the Amazon jungle.

Due to business commitments this property is being offered for sale.
The property has a total area of 2.0162 hectares (5 acres approx).

The large homestead bespeaks warmth and sophistication. The large family home has been extensively redesigned and renovated 12 years ago with a design by an Auckland Architect to merge into the park like surroundings. The home consists of four bedrooms (master with walk in wardrobe, ensuite and private deck overlooking captivating native bush views) and generous well proportioned formal and informal living areas that flow to a sheltered barbeque area, adjacent courtyards and in ground swimming pool. An outdoor heated spa is close by to be enjoyed by family and guests alike.

The jewel in the crown has to be Hideaway Cottage (www.hideawaycottage.co.nz) which is a luxury boutique accommodation unit set in a private bush setting only a stone's throw from the home. Set in a secluded native bush setting, Hideaway cottage provides the owners with additional income and opportunities to accommodate and entertain guests from throughout the world.
Various trees on the property include Casimiroa/White sapote .. custard apple, Tamirillo, Feijoa, limes, lemons, mandarin, grapes, persinnons figs and established avocado trees.

Henwood Road is located a short drive north of New Plymouth city.
New Plymouth is one of the best places in the world to live, according to judges in a recent United Nations-endorsed award. The Taranaki city was awarded first place and a gold award for cities of population up to 75,000 in the International Awards for Liveable Communities (LivCom), held in Dongguan, China in 2008. Graham was raised on a dairy farm just north of Stratford, Taranaki and attended St. Josephs Convent School in Stratford and then Francis Douglas College in New Plymouth. Graham then commenced an off farm career in telecommunications, training as a technician and by his early twenties, held the position as the Telecom Network Operations manager for central and south Taranaki, based in Hawera.

In 1998 Graham decided to go back to his farming roots and invested along with his brother Matthew in a family syndicate dairy farm operation in the Manawatu. The dairy farm was a recent drystock conversion and prevented many challenges for its new owners.
The purchase of the dairy farm involved much contact with real estate salespeople and it was this experience that motivated Graham to join the real estate industry in late 1999. In 2001, Graham and his wife Diana purchased Jacarma Lodge Rest Home in Fitzroy, New Plymouth prompting the move to North Taranaki. Graham and Diana owned and operated the rest home until 2004, when they decided to sell to focus on other interests.

Graham spent time advancing his real estate career by further study and achieved the National Certificate in Real Estate and Branch Manager’s Certificate in 2005 and is currently completing the National Diploma in Real Estate.
These qualifications and a successful sales history led to Graham commencing a management role with First National and then PGG Wrightson enlisted Graham to open a New Plymouth office for them in 2006.

In March 2009 Graham decided to get out of the office and back into sales and accepted a position with TSB Reality as a sales consultant.
One of the great things about TSB Reality is that Graham has the flexibility to be able to list and sell farms, houses and lifestyle blocks as he is qualified and experienced to do. This flexibility was not allowed with the previous companies. This means that one agent can sell all your properties whether you have a farm or a house in town.
Graham can do the whole job for you.
