I was born in Christchurch, brought up in Somerfield, and lived in the Halswell area for 45 years. We now live on 10 acres, where we’ve set up a Stud Cattle unit for the rare breed of Dexter Cattle. Cliff and I have been married for 45 years and we have two adult sons, both married and following their dreams, in Aircraft Engineering and Medicine.
I worked in Trustbank for seven years before entering Real Estate 28 years ago. For the last 17 years I have been Secretary for the Halswell Residents Association - which seeks to protect the interests of local Ratepayers, I am also a Trustee of the Lincoln Envirotown Trust. In 2008 I was elected to the District Committee of the Real Estate Institute Canterbury/Westland, and was Chair of the Education sub-committee until 2009 when the REAA took over the Districts responsibility.
I am the Halswell Representative on the CERA Community Forum.
