Graham was raised on a dairy farm just north of Stratford, Taranaki and attended St. Josephs Convent School in Stratford and then Francis Douglas College in New Plymouth. Graham then commenced an off farm career in telecommunications, training as a technician and by his early twenties, held the position as the Telecom Network Operations manager for central and south Taranaki, based in Hawera.
In 1998 Graham decided to go back to his farming roots and invested along with his brother Matthew in a family syndicate dairy farm operation in the Manawatu. The dairy farm was a recent drystock conversion and prevented many challenges for its new owners.
The purchase of the dairy farm involved much contact with real estate salespeople and it was this experience that motivated Graham to join the real estate industry in late 1999. In 2001, Graham and his wife Diana purchased Jacarma Lodge Rest Home in Fitzroy, New Plymouth prompting the move to North Taranaki. Graham and Diana owned and operated the rest home until 2004, when they decided to sell to focus on other interests.
Graham spent time advancing his real estate career by further study and achieved the National Certificate in Real Estate and Branch Manager’s Certificate in 2005 and is currently completing the National Diploma in Real Estate.
These qualifications and a successful sales history led to Graham commencing a management role with First National and then PGG Wrightson enlisted Graham to open a New Plymouth office for them in 2006.
In March 2009 Graham decided to get out of the office and back into sales and accepted a position with TSB Reality as a sales consultant.
One of the great things about TSB Reality is that Graham has the flexibility to be able to list and sell farms, houses and lifestyle blocks as he is qualified and experienced to do. This flexibility was not allowed with the previous companies. This means that one agent can sell all your properties whether you have a farm or a house in town.
Graham can do the whole job for you.
