Married to Phil and mother to 2 young adults and mum to a host of other international exchange students.

With a long and established career in the dairy industry, Klaas has gained a deep knowledge of the agriculture industry.

After emigrating with his wife and children from Holland in the late 1980’s, Klaas pursued a career in dairy and deer farming.

In 2004 Klaas joined PGG Wrightson as their rural- lifestyle Real Estate Agent.
During his time with Wrightsons, Klaas has successfully negotiated the sale of many properties from multi million dollar properties to life-style blocks.

His involvement on the board of trustees at local schools, and involvement with the local faith community has given Klaas many skills to become a successful negotiator.

In 2010, Klaas joined The Professionals as their rural-lifestyle specialist. Although he is based in Carterton, he services the whole of the South Wairarapa.
