It's hard to believe what sits behind the facade of this cute village cottage.
The casual living area, bathed in natural light with its slow combustion wood burning fireplace for the winter and large timber framed glass door sliding open to the covered outdoor entertaining. The private flat rear section framed with its lush and well developed garden. The new kitchen, offering plenty of work surface plus an abundance of storage. And of course, not to be overlooked 4 decent sized bedrooms, and study plus two bathrooms, family and ensuite.
Set peacefully back from the kerb and situated over the road from the school and kindergarten, round the corner from the park and pony club, and a short walk to the shops and cafe's and bus stop, the location couldn't be better, forget the car its a stroll to everything you need.
Opportunities like this little gem don't come along that often. This house presents a rare opportunity to relocate your family into the heart of Greenhithe village at an entry level price. Be quick this home will sell on the day or before
Sales is all I have known since I left school. In fact, my sales career started in school selling chocolate cakes to fellow students to finance an interest I then had in skiing. Selling financed my ‘OE’ and for the 12 years, I remained in Europe selling supported me.
What I have found over the years I have been involved in selling is that to be good at selling – being a good salesman isn’t about overbearing persuasion or a “fast tongue”. Getting a successful outcome pretty well comes down to honesty and hard work. Establishing a trust with the parties you are dealing with and then covering all the bases and more, to ensure you get the best result you can.
In 2006 I moved into real estate starting my career with Harcourts in West Auckland. I enjoyed an easy transition into real estate and as a consequence was named Harcourts “Rookie of the Year” in that first year. I am now based at Harcourts in Mairangi Bay listing and selling properties all over the North Shore. Going forward from that start I have always operated within the top 5% of Harcourts agents nationally
It has been gratifying to have had a life and career which has provided me with contact with a variety of people from all over the world and many different cultures. On reflection, it is this experience that has influenced me, provided my sense of ethics, given me an understanding of integrity, and love of people. I guess making me the person I am today.
I am proud to have helped a great number of people through a highly stressful and emotional period of their lives in selling their home, and what is usually their largest asset. As a consequence of this, I have an enduring relationship with these people as they continue to call on me today to sell their homes as their needs change for one reason or another.
Outside of work I have always believed in exercise as a means of balancing my work life and my inclination to enjoy good food and the odd wine. In a slightly more energetic past, I have run the London Marathon and completed 2 x Coast to Coasts. These days because of my geriatric knees I am restricted to biking, which I thoroughly enjoy, as well as coaching junior rugby, again a passion of mine.
