Jo sold real estate for nine years in Manhattan one of the world’s most competitive marketplaces. Having completed a Fine Arts Degree at Carnegie Melon University in Pittsburgh, Jo began her career in New York City as an actress. In the 1980’s she turned to real estate and chose to work for one of New York City’s top Madison Avenue agencies specialising in apartment sales.

Over eight years she scaled the heady heights of success and found herself loving real estate with a passion as her
career blossomed.
Looking for new challenges and a better lifestyle, Jo moved to New Zealand in 1987 with her Kiwi husband and family. In 2002 Jo, still passionate about Real Estate, was drawn to Bayleys’ high standards and supportive network. She swapped her original Manhattan apartment focus to concentrate on residential and lifestyle properties.

Jo is renowned for giving her clients 200% of her energy, leaving no stone unturned as she constantly re-evaluates and updates her promotional campaigns. “I love the challenge of achieving a great result for people.” She strives to make the selling and purchasing processes as stress-free as possible, getting
immense pleasure from a positive result for all parties involved.

Jo’s first year at Bayleys was in 2003 where she won “Rookie of the Year.” She has been the winner of the Top Country / Lifestyle award for Bayleys North Shore since 2003.

Jo has received “Highly Commended” recognition for the New Zealand Herald Advertising Awards for 2005 and the much esteemed Silver Award in 2006. Her achievements and values were recognized with three awards in 2007 - “Top Achiever - Albany Office”, “Top Lifestyle Salesperson” and the “Stanaway Real Estate Values Award”. In 2009/10 Jo won the Top Salesperson for Bayleys Albany and is in the top 10% of salespeople for Bayleys nationwide as well as being in the hundred plus million dollar club.
