Waimarama
Hawke's Bay District
Set back from the road, secluded and sheltered amongst the pohutukawas, this character beach bach has much to offer the discerning Waimarama buyer. Nestled at the established northern end of town it is only about 200 metres stroll from the magnificent Waimarama surf, swimming and fishing beach or equidistant from the lagoon.
Three double bedrooms with two bathrooms plus outdoor shower are complemented by large open plan living opening through bi-fold doors to private north facing deck catching the sun all day long and enhancing the all-weather indoor/outdoor flow. A single garage and separate workshop underneath provide plenty of storage while the fully fenced 1160m2 site offers plenty of room to put up a tent or park the boat. There is even a fish bay for those lucky enough to catch something fresh for the BBQ.
While there is no denying the exterior needs a paint job the roof has been recently replaced and the interior is tidy providing above average accommodation. This is a rare opportunity to purchase in this highly desirable location surrounded mainly by properties that have been significantly upgraded and continue to be so. Ready to enjoy as it is or waiting for potential to be explored.
Give your family the Christmas present they deserve!

Real Estate as a career was more by accident than design. Two years of a law degree and a bit more of a B.A. led to property mamagement in 1980 at Rod Weir & Co. in Wellington where I first attained a Salesperson Certificate - a vastly different animal from today‘s extensive training, especially as provided by major market players.
Two years overseas travel, a stint in commercial interior design, completion of a degree in English Literature, more overseas travel and a marriage in Australia saw me back to Real Estate (what is it about it?) this time for Raine & Horne, Sydney. A move to Auckland, some computer work and a lot of golf and I was suddenly unmarried, working exporting wool in Taupo. Experience of difficult markets may be applied to many disciplines and where else to turn when a change of tack was required? - Real Estate!!
In the last twenty one years as a Sales Consultant in your area I have learnt that all those years accumulating a wealth of knowledge and experience can actually REALLY be used in one job.
In 1998 I completed a Diploma of Business Studies - Real Estate after eighteen months of study at Massey and joined the local Real Estate Institute District Committee, becoming Vice President in 2004 and President in 2006, re-elected for a further term in 2007 and a further term in 2008. With AREINZ status I managed a Havelock North office from October 2000 to February 2005. In 2006 I joined the Bayleys team and look forward to furthering my career under their excellent umbrella of brand, marketing and culture.
My goals are to listen to clients needs and help them fulfil their dreams.
