In addition to this from 2000 -2002 David also developed, promoted and managed three US$25,000 ATP Tour Tennis tournaments in Hamilton.
In 2001, David was awarded New Zealand Tennis Coach of the year.
Following on from these achievements, David then secured the French based Babolat sports brand for the New Zealand marketplace and started up Hamilton based Advantage Sports – a nationwide sporting goods distribution company.
