Jill and her family arrived in New Zealand from the United Kingdom in 2005. She had been an estate agent in Stratford-upon-Avon for eight years as part of a team selling homes from country mansions to thatched cottages.
On arriving in New Zealand she found the real estate scene daunting, because of both the style of housing and the competitive "American style" nature of the industry.
