John is a stalwart in the real estate industry in Tauranga having been part of it since 1984. He bought a franchise of the Challenge Realty group in Mount Maunganui in 1990 and the following year he became a licensed agent through the AREINZ.

After eight years as a franchise owner of Challenge Realty, LJ Hooker bought the group and John's office was rebranded. With this, John decided to expand his reach opening an office in Papamoa. John ran offices in both Mount Maunganui and Papamoa from 1998-2017, winning the award of franchise owner of the year in 2002/2003 and 2009/2010.

Earlier this year John sold his franchise but has stayed on to impart his knowledge to the team and customers. With his vast experience in real estate in the Mount and Papamoa, John has well deserved his reputation as an 'expert'.

Vickey is a licensed real estate agent and an associate of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand. Vickey's real estate career started in Rotorua 1990 with the Harvey's group. Eight years later Vickey became a branch manager with the Eves group then in 2000 she became a franchiser with LJ Hooker and opened an office at Papamoa. Due to family circumstances Vickey sold the Papamoa office and along with her husband David she moved to Australia and started a new career in holiday apartment management while also selling apartments on the Gold Coast. With the arrival of grandchildren, Vickey and David decided to return to New Zealand in 2009.

In recent years Vickey and David have been working as apartment relief managers managing The Reef on Marine Parade, Mt Maunganui 2011-2012 then The Anchorage Pilot Bay, Mt Maunganui 2012-2014. David is currently managing an apartment complex in Mt Maunganui.

During the past 28 years Vickey has kept her qualifications and interest in real estate and is now back selling real estate, specialising in apartments and houses with Tremains Mt Maunganui.
