Supreme lifestyle with income

Located on the south west of Hamilton city, in an area renown for its rich history and ideal environmental benefits. This productive blueberry orchard combines a superior home with supporting financial reward.

The 4.1259ha (more or less) unit specialises in a range of blueberries including new plantations of the Eureka and the First blush variety, which are expected to greatly increase crop yields into the near future. The property has undergone a recent re-development to allow modern varieties to stay competitive and meet consumer demand, with production this year resulting in 9,067kgs of fruit being picked.

An absolute stand out feature is the large family home of impeccable quality that resides at the entrance to the property. It is carved into a landscaped environment with indoor-outdoor living completing the harmony, which is further enhanced by a heated swimming pool, spa pool and barbecue area. Interiors deliver two separate living options, an office and four bedrooms, with a bathroom including a full master suite that opens to the deck and pool area. Three heat pumps and a gas fire cater for winter comfort.

Infrastructure supporting the orchard includes a workshop and 112sqm storage shed which has previously been used as a pack house. The owner's blueberry business is currently run in conjunction with two other separate units, with fruit being processed and packed nearby.

Both of these properties are also on the market and can viewed at the links below, or contact Aaron or Scott for further information.

Upon completing a degree at Waikato University at the age of 24, I bought my first investment property. This was the beginning of an investment portfolio and a passion for Real Estate. Now I get the opportunity and great pleasure in assisting other people to realise their real estate goals.

Having a teaching background of 11 years helped me develop:
• A wide breadth of networks
• Strong listening skills
• A confident and effective delivery style
• A good understanding of positive teamwork

I loved teaching, particularly the last five years at Cambridge High School. However, in 2005 an opportunity arose to work for a great company. The Bayleys mission statement reads, ‘we are committed to maximising the value of our client’s real estate assets through superior customer service’. After 13 years working with the great Bayleys team I firmly believe in our ability to market quality property and achieve outstanding results.

I have a love for sport, in particular rugby and am affiliated with the Hamilton Old Boys Club. I have now focussed my rugby interest to refereeing and have set high goals in this field. I have travelled extensively throughout the UK and Europe, basing myself in London for three years. Whilst travelling through Spain, I met my wife Shani, we have four beautiful children. We also lived in Japan for two years, where I played rugby whilst experiencing their beautiful culture.

I live with three basic principles; to succeed you must be ‘hardworking, reliable and honest’.

Scott Macdonald

Success Realty Ltd MREINZ

Licensed Real Estate Salesperson (REAA 2008), Member of the REINZ

Born and bred in the small Bay of Plenty town of Te Whaiti, Scott grew up on his family’s 1200ha intensive dry stock property. He has lived and breathed farming his entire life.

Head prefect in his final year at Rotorua Boys' High School, Scott went on to study at Lincoln University on a Canterbury rugby scholarship. He graduated with a Diploma in Farm Management and has spent 10 years managing his family’s very diverse and intensive farming operations.

Enterprising by nature, Scott and his wife Vanessa ran the successful tourism business, Jailhouse Farmstay & Shuttles. Developing the business from scratch afforded Scott valuable insight into effective marketing approaches with positive results. He approaches real estate with the same zeal, applying his business acumen and in-depth knowledge of the rural sector to achieve optimum outcomes for his clients.

The father of two young sons is an advocate of campaigning to get the best results. He's aligned himself with Bayleys as he avidly believes the brand is an exceptional one with a huge marketing presence and appeal. Scott revels in the excitement, and loves the cut-and-thrust of transacting mutually satisfying deals. He brings to the formidable Mike Fraser-Jones team the enthusiasm of youth tempered with a lifetime of rural experience, innovation and capacity for hard work.
