Ken Walter has had a broad and varied business background since the 1980’s while based in South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. This is backed up by qualifications in architecture and quantity surveying.
His background in the building, retail, hospitality and real estate industries, has given him a thorough understanding of the wide range of business and technical skills required for meaningful negotiation and good business relationships and despite his friendly and straight forward approach, he has a reputation for getting things done.
Ken joined Harcourts Commercial in Hamilton in 2000 and attained Harcourts Commercial ‘Rookie of the year’ Central Region and the Waikato Times ‘Most promising New Sales person' and ‘Outstanding Achievement in Commercial and Industrial’ awards for 2000/2001.
He then moved to Tauranga where he was well known as the owner of Tenpin Tauranga while maintaining his license and affiliation to Harcourts.
As a grower in the Kiwifruit business he became involved in Commercial and Rural real estate sales through the Professionals where he attained Runner-up Commercial Sales Person of the year and the 10 Million Dollar club in 2007/ 2008.
Since 2009 Ken and Lorraine co-owned and managed a Management Rights business and a Resort sub- division project in Western Australia, returning to Tauranga in late 2015.
