Tauranga District & Western BOP

Little green gem in Waihi

It is a pleasure to bring this tidy and compact 1.75 can/ha Hayward conventional production block to the market. Located in Waihi, just minutes from the desirable holiday makers paradise of Waihi beach. The property boasts a solid three year production average for this area of over 9,500 trays per can/ha. It has good shelter, extensive frost protection, is north facing to maximise sunlight hours and often attracts early start premiums.
There is the potential to increase production with a hands on owner or good orchard manager and would be a prime site to cut over to Gold 3 in future. The compact site means very low maintenance to the blocks other than the canopy areas, tracks and shelter belts.
It lends itself to buyers who are looking to get into the kiwifruit game whether that be 'out of towners' that holiday in the area and want to venture into a kiwifruit investment with extra cash flow, or locals and others looking to add to their kiwifruit or investment portfolios.
It is now in its final year of a lease arrangement, so can be sold with or without the lease (by negotiation).
• Tidy 1.75 cn/ha Hayward production block
• Frost Boss fan and irrigation system (with newly installed carbon fibre fan)
• North facing blocks to maximise sunlight hours
• Close proximity to local amenities including Waihi beaches and shops
• Solid production history for this location 9,500 3 year average
• Potential house site
This is a very attractive and simple proposition that wont last long, so get in touch with Snow Williams or Clark Mazey to view today! Open Days: Thursdays 11.00am to 11.45am beginning Thursday 28 May 2020.
