I have been in the Real Estate Industry for 23 years. Initially beginning my career in Real Estate as a Property Manager in the Manawatu, then moving on to sales after 18 months; specialising in Character homes. I won numerous awards with the company I worked for (including Rookie of the year) before moving to Ray White Hamilton in 2005. Prior to working in the Real Estate Industry I worked for an advertising and newspaper group. This gave me an insight into effective advertising and script writing when marketing a property.

I have a number of investment properties’ and therefore have an understanding of what is involved when buying properties to build wealth. I enjoy working with people building their investment portfolios and have a number of clients who now own numerous properties, that purchased their first investment property with me! Creating a repeat client base by gaining the trust and confidence from those I work with is extremely important to me.

My daughter Jess Taylor works alongside me, so you receive the added value of a vibrant young salesperson also looking after your property. Jess has fantastic marketing skills and an extensive knowledge of the use of Social Media, which is an incredibly important marketing tool in this new generation of buyers.

I was initially introduced to Real Estate as a child. My Mother, Kim Taylor, has now been in the Real Estate industry for over 23 years. It always seemed like quite a‘high stress’ job; A lot of phone calls, emails, driving all over the place, making sure that both yourself AND your car are presented well at all times, as well as working such long and bizarre hours.. Despite knowing all of this, I left school and wasn’t sure which career path to take, so I took on what I thought would be a short term position as mums P.A, just until I 'found my calling'.. Well, within a few months I was sitting my sales license. I have found my calling after all!

It is now 5 years into my Real Estate Career. I am still working alongside mum who is an incredible person as well as a truly talented Agent. I thoroughly enjoy the industry with the many aspects it entails, in particular the strong and often personal relationships that we build along the way. We pride ourselves when our clients say they felt at ease entrusting two friendly and reliable agents to look after their most valuable assets, as well as themselves!

Being young in this industry is an asset to my clients. Aside from having energy and enthusiasm, my knowledge and understanding of social media and effective marketing approaches truly maximises the exposure of our listings. I am very driven by helping my clients achieve their goals, as well as my own, which shows through my sales and negotiation techniques.
