This is the place to really switch off and reconnect with no TV but plenty of board games and puzzles.

With the beach just a quick walk away, you'll be able to nip down for a dip in the waves, and when you get home, rinse off under the outdoor shower if any pesky sand comes home with you. Waihi Beach is a truly stunning holiday destination, with safe surf and 9km of soft golden sands.

During your stay you'll also be able to help yourself to the four adult bikes, two surfboards and four boogie boards. Plenty of holiday gear to keep you busy.

For the closest tasty spot to eat, you won't need to go far with Surf Shack Eatery just around the corner - less than a two-minute walk, down a pathway at the end of Reel Road, till you're sipping on a barista-made flat white!

Waihi Beach village shops and cafes are a five-minute drive away. And for some adventures there are also many walking and cycling tracks to explore the area.
