COUNTRY CHARM - CITY CONVENIENCE

Superb small acreage close to the city in a sought-after area - sitting on an elevated 8,000m² site overlooking your land, with panoramic lake and rural views and all-day sun.

If you have spent the last few months searching for that really special home, and have been unsuccessful, then after a short drive down the all-weather driveway you'll find this well-presented three-bedroom, two-bathroom (master with en-suite) Lockwood home. The property has open plan kitchen/dining - and with its large sunny deck it's a perfect spot to sit and enjoy the morning sun. There is a mezzanine floor for extra room or use as a studio or craft room, plus double car garaging. For those cooler winter months there's a heat pump and a cosy wood fire. Finally, the two-bedroom, self-contained, sleepout is a real bonus.

The land is subdivided into four well-fenced, nearly flat, paddocks with bore water, and garden lovers will appreciate the beautiful well-established gardens, well-built raised vegetable gardens plus a generous sized glass house - ideal for growing your own fresh vegetables.

Live the dream lifestyle - milk the cow, collect the eggs from the henhouse and pick the fruit from the numerous fruit trees.

This is the perfect package for a rural lifestyle - and only approximately a 15-minute drive from the city, and just minutes from Ngongotaha Village - so get in touch, so Chris can show you around.

Licensed Real Estate Salesperson (REAA 2008), Member of the REINZ

I’m Chris Meban and I have 30 plus years of rural experience. I was born in Gisborne and until 2008 had lived there all my life. I am a 5th generation farmer who had run the 2,300 ha family dry stock farm, running 20,000 stock units.

I started my working life shepherding on large East Coast sheep and cattle stations before completing a Diploma of Agriculture at Massey University. After a two year working holiday in Europe and Africa, plying rugby and shearing sheep, I returned to the East Coast farming scene.

In 2008 the family farm was sold and as a result I moved to Rotorua. This was because of the central location and outdoor environment that Rotorua offers. My wife Jenny and I purchased a 55ha lifestyle farm in Hamurana running sheep and cattle. I have many interests outside of work – hunting, fishing to name a few.

My interest in the farming scene and the rural community has led me to the challenge of rural Real Estate.

To me real estate is about achieving the best possible result for my clients and ensuring that the process is a positive one. Creating a marketing plan that will target the right buyers and gain as much attention along with consistent and timely communication with you the Vendor and the buyer will assist in getting that much wanted ‘SOLD’ sign up.

I know my market, and have fabulous communication skills and I have a tremendous track record of sales over many suburbs and all price ranges. I understand the target market for each property I offer for sale and am able to quickly identify the most effective way to reach those buyers.

My commitment to you:
I will apply the farming ethics of hard work and honesty to your real estate needs.
