A superbly presented contemporary home with a northerly aspect and spectacular views. While the street name should be a clue, it is still a surprise to see the stunning panorama of the Welcome Bay estuary curving into Tauranga (city lights at night), Mauao taking centre stage, Kaimai ranges sunsets to the west. This home feels perfectly positioned for both sunshine and the vista.
While the large-covered deck is a fantastic viewing spot and entertaining space, you also enjoy outlook from the lounge, the master suite, and the kitchen sink! The view may be the hero but there's so much appreciate in this home too. Spacious open plan living is backed by a dramatic black and white kitchen, the honeyed timber panelling and detail a perfect foil for the overall monochromatic decor. A sunny snug or office hides behind cavity sliders. More versatility in the large room downstairs (bedroom, business base, rumpus room) opposite a double garage with exceptional additional storage.
The 249sqm (approx.) built dwelling has a concrete block base with linear weatherboard cladding on the upper level for easy maintenance. There's a concreted utility area at the rear of the home from where the 763 sqm (approx.) gently slopes up an intensely planted bank. All very tidy and easy to care for, leaving you more time to admire the view from this peaceful spot near the end of a cul de sac in the heights above Welcome Bay.
In 1995 Paul moved with his family from Holland to Tauranga. Back in Holland he worked in the Commercial Construction industry, namely large high rise buildings which required a high level of technical knowhow backed up by good customer service.
After arriving in New Zealand Paul used this knowledge to start a small company selling and installing various construction and business related services. (Construction, Security, Business Communications etc.) More recently has worked as a volunteer for a medical organisation working in the Pacific Islands, helping doctors to do free eye operations. Paul has found this to be extremely rewarding.
On returning to the workforce, with his background it seemed natural to step into the challenging world of Real Estate. Paul considers himself to be a diligent, hard worker with a strong desire to achieve. He tells us in Holland they have a saying “De Klant is Konig” translated meaning “The Customer is King.” It is with this mind-set that Paul looks forward to working alongside you.
