He has been the leader of many of the district council projects, and he fully understands the geography of the town. Tony lives and breathes the Whakatane and Ohope communities, as he had been a committed volunteer as a Rotarian of over twenty years standing, and as a volunteer radio operator at Whakatane Coastguard for nineteen years.
