Mary is also involved in community life in Tauranga, being an active member and past President of the Rotary Club of Tauranga Sunrise. She attends Pilates Classes, belongs to a book club and enjoys walking in the lovely suburbs of Matua, Otumoetai and Mt Maunganui.

Peter started Real Estate in 1986 in the South Waikato managing 130 rental properties along with being involved in sales which included housing, commercial, industrial and farms. While working for Tozer Real Estate he called many successful auctions until Tozer Real Estate changed hands in 2014. Now Eves Realty - Peter continues to based in the Cherrywood office, listing and selling residential and lifestyle property throughout Tauranga.
Peter has been involved in Recreational Fishing Rights since 2000 and is currently Vice President of the New Zealand Sports Fishing Council and Director of the Sports Fishing Council's public outreach initiative 'LegaSea'. Peter was on the committee of the Tauranga Sports Fishing Club from 1995 where he organised and compered the fishing contests until 2000. In 1999 he started a three year tenure as president.
More recently Peter has taken up golf and plays regularly at the local golf course in Otumoetai. Keen to support the club and community Peter and Mary O’Sullivan sponsor the annual Anzac Day Tournament.
