Tony has thirty years of successful award winning retail sales, and twelve years as the elected Mayor of the Whakatane District Council. This has given Tony the people skills to make sure you, as the client, get the best service, and success that you deserve.

Tony has lived in Ohope most of his life and knows Ohope and Whakatane very well. He is following in his father D'arcy Bonne's footsteps with his choice of a career in real estate sales. Tony was one of the founders of the Health 2000 chain of stores, and he left the group at its peak when it had 79 stores in the group. He has been the leader of many of the district council projects, and he fully understands the geography of the town. Tony lives and breathes the Whakatane and Ohope communities, as he had been a committed volunteer as a Rotarian of over twenty years standing, and as a volunteer radio operator at Whakatane Coastguard for nineteen years.

Colin was born and raised in Galatea and began his broadcasting career at just 18 with 1XX Whakatāne. Over the next decade, he worked at radio stations across the North Island before returning to 1XX, where he became a trusted voice for 26 years.

Based in Awakeri for 20 years, Colin designed and built a magazine featured resort style garden, often hosting friends with his signature Asian inspired cuisine. He entered property investment in 1998, owning and managing many rentals across several towns before building his dream home in 2020.

Beyond work, Colin is a funeral celebrant and event MC for major occasions such as Kawerau’s Christmas in the Park and Tauranga’s All American Car Show. A passionate classic car enthusiast, he owns two American muscle cars and is active in local car clubs. He loves escaping with his family to the Pacific Islands to relax, enjoy the sunshine, and indulge in watersports.
