Alan is a seasoned Real Estate professional having attained his New Zealand Diploma in Real Estate in 2000 and gained the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) in 2016. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in Public Practice Alan then bought his own his own Award-winning Real Estate business on the Hibiscus Coast in New Zealand and specialised in residential and commercial Real Estate with a particular interest in Body Corporate properties. It was this specialisation that led Alan to the Middle East where he took an active role in establishing the Community Association Management profession in Dubai and the greater GCC region. As the General Manager of a company managing significant gated communities and high-rise condominiums in Dubai, Oman, and Abu Dhabi he is also a trusted faculty member of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) training Community Managers around the world.

Having recently moved back to Papamoa as a returning expat, Alan chose Papamoa to live as it represented the kind of lifestyle he wanted to enjoy with his family and friends. The laidback beach lifestyle and the ready access to all those services and facilities that can only be enjoyed by a larger city attracted him to settle here in Papamoa Beach. Buying his own home in Papamoa in 2018 he has been amazed at the massive growth that has occurred since buying his home and moving back to New Zealand.
