Aidan Cowley
PGG Wrightson
Licensed Real Estate Salesperson (REAA 2008), Member of the REINZ
Aidan was born in Hamilton, raised in Huntly and attended Hamilton Boys High School. Tertiary education was at Lincoln University, where Aidan graduated with a Diploma in Agriculture.
Aidan’s farming career began as a shepherd on high country stations in the South Island, followed by a shift back to the Waikato to take up sharemilking as a pathway to farm ownership. Aidan has farmed in several regions, including at Manakau and the King Country, where he purchased his first drystock property at Ohura. This was sold to purchase another drystock farm at Aria for converting to dairying.
In 2002, Aidan returned to the Waikato, settling in Tauhei, where he farmed his calf-rearing operation. It was during this time that he became involved in the real estate industry, with approximately seven years selling rural and lifestyle properties. In 2011, the challenge of completing another dairy conversion drew Aidan back to full-time farming.
Aidan has recently sold his farm and is returning to his real estate profession. He is excited to be reconnecting with the industry and the many people that he knows throughout the Morrinsville and North Waikato areas.
Aidan is married to Sharon and they have four adult children and one grandchild. His interests include their 10 acre lifestyle property and following a wide range of different sports including fishing.
