Introducing Megan Bailey-Salt

Megan Bailey-Salt is no stranger to customer service after over two decades in the hospitality industry. Megan has worked in all kinds of food service, from pie carts and lunch bars as a teenager, through restaurants and out-catering in her twenties and on to managing hotels and restaurants in her thirties.

Having achieved so much in the hospitality trade, Megan has decided to seek new challenges, and so was delighted to accept the offer from her mother, Professionals agent Cheryl Salt, to join the Salt Team. Megan is excited about the chance to develop a more substantial relationship with clients than latte or flat white?' and help people find a property that will have a more lasting impact on their happiness than any exquisite main course or mouth-watering dessert.

On those rare occasion when Megan isn't out trying to find the perfect new home for her clients, she spends time at her own home with her husband Bailey and a menagerie that includes several species of New Zealand native reptiles and amphibians, plus one slightly insane orange cat.

Prior to real estate, Cheryl spent 20 years in catering and managing cafes both in Wellington and Auckland, so obviously she’s a pretty passionate ‘foodie’. Ask her for some great muffin recipes!
Cheryl has been in real estate since 2001 and feels this is where she really belongs.
She is very much a ‘people person’ and believes that success in real estate comes through good communication, understanding and really listening to peoples' wants and needs.
