Introduction
The apartment was fully rebuilt from January to May 2009. This included removal of all internal walls, all external wall coverings, all plumbing, all wiring, all flooring and all ceiling tiles. All bathroom windows were replaced and all other windows were renovated with new seals and new handles. In effect, it is a brand new apartment within the core of the existing building. The design and site supervision was performed by Void Architechture (formerly Two Lattitudes) and building work was performed by Buildweiser.

Key specifications of the new apartment include the following:

1. The new ceiling and all external walls are now fully insulated with Batts type product.
2. The internal walls are double gibbed for internal sound proofing.
3. As part of the plumbing re-fit a new hot water cylinder was installed and mains pressure water was connected. The original connection to the roof-top water tank was removed.
4. All internal wiring was replaced. All rooms have been connected with high definition TV cables and network/internet connections. Speaker wires have been installed to the rear on the lounge. Sky TV is connected and a remote system has been installed to the bedrooms to allow use of the Sky TV remote in all rooms. This allows full Sky capability in the bedrooms through one Sky connection.
5. The wooden flooring is sustainable bamboo hardwood, installed using a floating system. A sound absorbing underlay has also been used under the flooring to reduce noise to and from the apartment below.
6. High grade underlay has been installed under all the carpets.
7. Every draw in the kitchen, lounge and bathrooms (bar 1) is soft close.
8. Safety glass has been installed in all bathroom windows and the 3rd bedroom.
9. Blackout slimline blinds are installed in all bedrooms. Standard slimline blinds are installed in the lounge.
10. Full fireproofing systems have been installed in the apartment. The front door is new and up to today's fire standard. Full heat and smoke alarms have been installed throughout the apartment and the heat alarms are linked to the new building emergency system.
11. All lighting has been supplied by Modus.
12. Oven, hobb, built-in fridge, freezer and dishwasher were all purchased in 2009 and installed by the joiners. Fridge, freezer and dishwasher are Electrolux. Oven and ceramic hobb are Boshe.
13. Kitchen benches are CeaserStone.
14. Built-in fold down bed in bedroom 2 is a Tiltaway with side unit. This is removable if required.
15. Both bathroom mirrors have heated panels to prevent misting.
16. Both bathrooms have extractor fans and main bathroom has heated towel rail.
17. Bathroom toilets and vanity units are all wall mounted. Tap-ware and toilet-ware is predominantly Grohe.
18. Apartment is fully fitted with thermostat and 7 day timer controlled wall mounted Atlantic heaters.
