Maurice commenced selling real estate in 1996, and specialises exclusively in rural property sales. He has built up a large data base of clients and is experienced in all categories, including dairy, lifestyle, horticultural and coastal properties, as well as handling a wide variety of rural subdivisions in the Whakatane District.

Maurice has successfully sold many hundreds of rural properties. Having a lifelong interest in all things rural, he has had a background in rural employment, having worked as a Stock Agent and has also been a Dairy Farmer in a share milking position. Maurice is a Licensed Real Estate Agent. Together with his wife Lee-Anne he lives in the rural district of Awakeri where they run a small dry stock farm.

Maurice has an excellent understanding and knowledge of the local market and has the confidence, ability and experience to successfully promote and sell all types of property. His Rural Marketing Team includes Kevin Richardson and Kirstie Richardson who assist him in taking care of business.

Kevin joined real estate in 1990 and has now completed more than 30 years in Real Estate, all of them here in Whakatane with one company, which is unique in the industry and definitely something to be proud of.

Having come from a farming background Kevin is a specialist rural salesperson and has been ranked in the top 10% of internal salespeople nationally. Kevin has moved to working in a team situation with Maurice Butler and Lee-Anne Butler allowing their business to grow without compromising quality standards, especially service to clients. Their Rural Sales Team have won various company awards over consecutive years 2010-2019. Kevin's daughter Kirstie has also joined the rural team to assist with the busy rural market.

Kevin still takes a keen interest in farming and until recently spent many years doing artificial insemination for local farmers. Kevin is a keen family man, enjoys walking and traveling and is a past member of the Whakatane Rotary Club.
