Sitting majestically amongst other prestigious real estate is this very special property, designed with flair by a recognised architect, as his own home.
This home has a very flexible layout. The entrance leads you directly to an enormous work space which enabled the architect to run his business from home. The current owner also uses this space successfully for her consultancy business. Being divided into 2 spaces it can be utilised as it is now as an office and a separate consulting space or could be just another bedroom with a large study of it - ideal for teenagers or other semi independent family members.
The master bedroom has every imaginable indulgence. A walk in wardrobe, a fab ensuite with 2 hand basins, plenty of space for furniture and an attached sunroom large enough for a day bed (great for a nursery and boast a delightful outlook).
On this level there are 2 extra double bedrooms both opening out to the courtyard a stylish family bathroom, large laundry opening to outside and a terrific storage area.
There are many delightful courtyards leading from most rooms of this home including a gazebo which is ideal for a hammock or a spa pool.
The double garage is extra large and has a terrific workshop/storage room divided off it.
The living areas are open plan but by design, separated and can be utilized as you wish. The stylish kitchen is open plan with the dining and family area and opens out to a spacious outdoor dining/entertaining area with the most glorious views both day and night.
The more formal living space is large, sunny and has picture postcard views of the valley and harbour.
The third living area has been used as a large formal dining room but the current owners utilize it as an additional living area due to the fact that the dining/family area is spacious enough to accommodate even large family groups.
This stunning architectural masterpiece sits on a 900m2 mature property and has a neighbouring property with acreage creating that away from suburbia feeling whilst still being handy to the Hutt facilities and having direct access to the train and motorway into Wellington.
We have always loved this home and it will be a delight to market
