Graham has resided in the Hutt Valley for 25 years. During this time he managed for the Todd Family, Taita Service Station and what is now BP Waiwhetu.

He has also owned and operated Victoria Motor Services (1988) Ltd in Petone and BP Silverstream.

He rebuilt, owned and operated Harbour City Service Centre on Customhouse Quay in Wellington, now Shell Harbour City.

For 4 years he was employed by Edwards and Hardy Roofing (Wgtn) Ltd as a salesperson. Since then he branched into Real Estate and over this time he has had many satisfied clients.

He offers you his business acumen, honesty and integrity along with real interest in working with you to achieve your needs and desires.

In 2005 he so impressed Lorraine Girvan with the way he conducted his business that she invited him to form a selling partnership. This has enabled them to give what they believe an exceptional standard of service to their clients.

Lorraine began selling Real Estate in Lower Hutt in the late 1980’s after a 15 year career with the Bank of New Zealand. In 1990 she completed the qualification which enabled her to operate her own Real Estate Company and up until March 2020 she has been the Director of Selig Real Estate Ltd and Manager of the Lower Hutt office.

Although Lorraine enjoys management responsibilities she feels her best qualities are her people skills. Therefore, in March 2020 she decided to close Selig Real Estate and choose to join the Lower Hutt Harcourts Team to concentrate on her big love—selling Residential Real Estate.

In the 45 years Lorraine has lived in Lower Hutt she has lived in 4 different suburbs, has been involved in many community organisations and her children attended local schools. Therefore, she has a great appreciation and in-depth knowledge of what the wider Hutt Valley has to offer.
Lorraine has been married to Barry, a banker for 40 years. As Barry has now retired, you will see him helping Lorraine at open homes, he also assists her with other facets of her business. Both Lorraine and Barry are active members of Rotary Hutt Valley, in fact they have both been made Paul Harris Fellows, Rotary’s highest award for service to Rotary and the community. In 2016, Lorraine was further granted Rotary’s prestigious Sapphire Pin.

Lorraine’s interests outside real estate evolve around the community and her family and friends and all the Hutt Valley has to offer. This includes daily swimming in the local pools for exercise and in the summer swimming in the harbour and sea kayaking. She is an avid reader and enjoys travel, art history, gardening and together with her husband, helping their children with their home renovations and gardens and enjoying her 2 young grandchildren.

Lorraine remain passionate about selling Hutt Valley Real Estate, she has sold over $363 million of residential property and is proud of her achievements because of her career choice all those years ago.
