Having commenced her real estate sales career in 1988 at the age of 22 Moira was one of the few women selling real estate in Taranaki, and the youngest by some years. She has been instrumental in developmental pathways for young people and women in the real estate industry including her appointment as branch manager at the age of 26. Following promotion to regional manager of a Taranaki realty company Moira later held the position of business development manager for New Zealand’s largest real estate company.
