With over 22 years real estate experience, marketing and selling property in Wellingtons Northern suburbs, makes me the obvious choice of agent when selling your home. Living locally gives me local knowledge on market conditions and area trends. Whether a house is worth $100,000 or a $1,500,000 it deserves and gets the very best possible market exposure and the highest level of service that I can provide. I have lived in Newlands now for almost thirty years and am very proud to promote the many benefits of the area. I have seen the market grow from when the average sale price was around $120,000 to what it is today. I have seen the area grow both in population and in value although I still believe the area is still somewhat undervalued especially with some of the finest harbour views found anywhere in the world. So when next you decide to make a move anywhere in the Wellington area, be sure to give me a call.

Born and raised in Johnsonville since 1952, family have lived in Johnsonville since 1920’s. Currently live on a 7.5 acre lifestyle block in Glenside with my wife of 41 years Margaret and our dog Lachie. We have two children Natalie and Mike who live in Melbourne. Natalie is married to Tal and we have to grandsons Matan and Ariel.

My first work experience was with the customs department and then a shipping agent. Since then I have been self-employed initially in a driving school business and then contracting as a truck driver.

I entered into Real-Estate in 1987 working for Guardian First National, and then with three partners started active real estate and purchased the Harcourts Franchise in the early 1990’s. After working in a manager position I decided in 2002 to go back into “The Field” so I joined Leaders Real Estate and within 5 years was entered into their hall of fame. I also became an associate of The Real Estate Institute of New Zealand.

Three years ago Leaders reconstructed their management and 6 of us joined Tommy’s Johnsonville. Tommy’s closed their Johnsonville Franchise so after a lot of research we found that the best company for professionalism and work ethics was Bayleys Real Estate.

Interests:

Ruby – Currently I am the president of The Johnsonville Rugby Club which was founded in 1900. I started there as a school boy and played to senior level. Since then I have coached from colts to senior level as well as coaching teams from St. Benedicts, Onslow College and St. Pats Town. I am a life member of the Johnsonville Rugby club, and a founder of the Cripples Rugby team which has just celebrated 30 years of rugby.

Tramping – I have done most of the major walks (as well as a few others) with a group of friends and it helps me indulge another passion of outdoor photography.

Previous interests – Competed in numerous half marathons and marathons as well as a number of around the mountain relays.

Current interests – My family, our life style block, founder and host of the Woolshed Club, and annual tramping or cycling trips with our friends

Business interests – To give my past, present and future clients, the best of the service by working with New-Zealand’s best company.
