Mark has been heavily involved in the agricultural industry for the past 23 years, both in management and ownership, with wide experience in Dairy, Sheep and Beef (both breeding and finishing) and cropping. He and his family own a working grazing and cropping farm.

Within the community he has contributed largely to any club or organization he has had involvement with. He values giving back to the community and is always willing to help in any way he can. Currently Bayleys Taranaki support the Dairy Industry Awards, NZ Sheep Dog Trial Association, a number of local primary schools and have also been associated with Beef & Lamb NZ plus the Bayleys Mountain to Surf Marathon.
