Central Hutt Newly Renovated Gem
It may be difficult to find a more central and prestigious Hutt City street, with so many multimillion-dollar homes surrounding this most beautifully modernised and maintained, one level, three double bedroom, two living rooms home fitting superbly within its mature surroundings.
Renovations over the last few years include a new roof on both the house and the double garage, up to date paintwork inside and out, new carpet, double glazing, two new, very stylish bathrooms including an ensuite and walk in robe. There is extra insulation top and bottom plus many of the external walls. In addition, there is the most spacious designer kitchen you could ask for.
The kitchen's extensive granite bench tops including a large breakfast bar, double door fridge/freezer, large pantry, a wall oven, five gas burner hobs and of course a dishwasher will appeal to anyone who loves to cook with company. The dining and family room are open plan with the kitchen and benefit from all the north and west sun. Adjoining, is a second large north facing living room.
The kitchen, dining, family room area opens out to a large decked, partially covered, outdoor entertaining area - so convenient when prepping those summer meals outside or just for watching over the children in the sunny securely fenced rear yard. In fact, the whole property is fully fenced for security and privacy from the street.
This home is centrally heated and together with all the insulation and the sunny aspect it will be delightfully comfortable summer or winter.
An ideal home for a smaller family, couples with children off their hands who still enjoy space for entertaining and hobbies, or young professional couples who may be considering a lower maintenance lifestyle but would appreciate a bit more space inside and out than a town house.
There is of course the advantage of Myrtle Street being zoned for all the most popular schools, including Hutt Valley High just steps away, the "83" bus to Wellington close by, 2 train stations probably a 10-minute walk away and with everything Hutt City offers at your fingertips.
The owners advise us that Myrtle Street, compared with other central streets, has far less through traffic, being a pleasant surprise to them when they purchased. They are now moving north to support family and have loved their home and its convenience and have never regretted purchasing it. I am sure you would feel the same if you were wanting a similar lifestyle.
Tender close 4pm Thursday 4th November (will not be sold prior)Vendor's building inspection report and LIM are available.
