Marta has been raised and educated in Wellington and feels grateful for all that the New Zealand lifestyle has offered her family. With strong community connections, Marta is local to Newtown and enjoys the vibrant cultures which combine on her doorstep and all that life has to offer. In Marta’s spare time she loves spending quality time with her daughter and has recently learned how to skateboard, which they are enjoying together.

Originally from Africa, Marta is fluent in Tigrinya and has experience with community programs designed to help those who require assistance but do not speak English.
