Richard Laery

Richard has been in the real estate industry for over twenty years. He has a very diverse array of experience in residential, commercial, industrial markets through to project marketing and leadership. From opening new offices in the Fiji Islands to international, executive leadership roles in New Zealand and Australia.

A CEO role based in Australia saw him manage a joint international venture partnership which he led, launched and expanded across New Zealand and then Australia. He achieved unparalleled growth in a very challenging environment with over 30 locations launched; The business was also recognised for achieving international member of the year on the international stage during his tenure.
Richard is married with three children and lives in Tauranga. His family is the most important part of his life. He has an adventurous spirit and loves all things to do with the ocean, surfing, fishing, cycling, snow, travel and getting outside with his family and friends. He loves the saying, “live a life you will remember!”.
Richard is now running and leading the growth for New Zealand Sotheby's International Realty in the Bay Of Plenty and Waikato regions in New Zealand.
